Spanish Director Jaime Falero Assembles an International Cast in ‘Project 12: The Bunker’ Spain has a long history of talented directors. Names like Vigalondo, Cortés, Bayona and Fresnadillo prove that this tradition is alive and well. Jaime Falero is another young filmmaker bringing his unique vision and expertise to a global audience. After gaining recognition with shorts and a debut feature film called The Clan, Hollywood has paid attention. Thanks in part to Gustavo Cardozo, a film producer based in Los Angeles, Falero has being able to assemble an international cast for his upcoming movie Project 12: The Bunker (one that he produces along with Joaquín Sanchez). Academy Award and Golden Globe nominee Eric Roberts (The Dark Knight), acclaimed actor James Cosmo (Games of Thrones, Brave Heart), Timothy Gibbs (Pacific Rim) and -as you can see on the photo on the right- the beautiful Natasha Alam (True Blood, The Women) have been shooting his latest project in Tenerife (Canary Islands). “Project 12: The Bunker tells the story of four mercenaries who are hired by an armament mogul (Roberts) to get a secret file created by a former Soviet Union scientist, Bryan Balanowsky (James Cosmo), during the Cold War.” To get an idea of Falero’s style, take a look at this trailer for his previous El Clan. Expect Project 12: The Bunker to arrive by the end of this year or early 2014.
