Christopher Nolan’s ‘Interstellar’ Teaser Poster has a Hopeful Message

The first teaser poster for Christopher Nolan’s “Interstellar” (in theaters and IMAX this November) keeps the dark and sober tone of previous films by the British genius: Dark, sober and concise. Many have called him the new Kubrik, but the image of an adult and a kid holding hands and the line “MANKIND WAS BORN ON EARTH. IT WAS NEVER MEANT TO DIE HERE” are more reminiscent of Spielberg.

There is no official synopsis yet, but it is believed to be centered around future space explorers traveling into a wormhole to save humanity. Jessica Chastain, Anne Hathaway, Matthew McConaughey, Michael Caine and -reportedly- Matt Damon star.
