Desde Hollywood attended the yellow carpet and press conference held inside Universal Studios Hollywood to celebrate the grand opening of the new 3D ride “Despicable Me Minion Mayhem” and “Super Silly Fun Land.”

Present at the event were, among others, L.A. Mayor Eric Garcetti; Chris Meledandri, Illumination Entertainment; Universal representatives; “Despicable Me” stars, Miranda Cosgrove (Margo), Dana Gaier (Edith) and Elsie Fisher (Agnes), Host Mario Lopez, and of course Gru and his minions.

In the first exclusive video ride producer Jon Corfino talks about the immersive adventure, and in the second one, spokeman Raúl Becerra shares all the details in Spanish.

“Despicable Me Minion Mayhem” is based on Universal Pictures and Illumination Entertainment’s Academy Award® and Golden Globe Award-nominated film franchise, and created in collaboration with Chris Meledandri, founder and CEO of Illumination Entertainment.
