One of the most experienced filmmakers in today’s horror genre is John R. Leonetti. Before directing ANNABELLE, he served as Director of Photography in modern classics like THE CONJURING and INSIDIOUS.

I recently had the pleasure of seating down with Leonetti to discuss his latest directorial effort, WISH UPON, “a teen, fantasy horror movie” as he describes it.

The film stars Joey King, Shannon Purser, Sherilyn Fenn, Ki Hong Lee, and Ryan Phillippe.

WISH UPON opens in theaters nationwide this Friday, July 14.

 

 

A teen girl discovers a magical box that will grant her seven wishes. As she uses her wishes for personal gain, bad things begin to happen to those around her. She discovers an evil entity lives inside the box and may be behind the gruesome deaths.
