Sometimes the most fascinating real stories surpass anything created in a work of fiction. Jose Antonio Vargas chose to leave behind a successful career as journalist, revealing to the world his migratory status, to fight for Reform.

In his must-see “Documented” he presents the logical arguments for a much needed legislative change, but his most powerful statement comes from his personal drama of not being able to see his mother, back in the Philippines.

I had the honor of talking this inspiring and brave American without papers while he visited Los Angeles. In the video interview he articulates in a clear and concise way the challenges that millions like him face trying to achieve the same rights and responsibilities of everyone else in the Land of the Free.
