In the new Disney and Pixar’s original feature film ELEMENTAL, we get to explore the unlikely connection formed between two young members of different groups, Ember and Wade.

We recently had the chance to talk to the talented and charming actors that bring them to life with their voices, Leah Lewis and Mamoudou Athie.

The animated movie, directed by Peter Sohn, also stars Ronnie del Carmen, Shila Ommi, Wendi McLendon-Covey, Catherine O’Hara, Mason Wertheimer, Joe Pera, and Matt Yang King.

ELEMENTAL is now playing in theaters nationwide.

Element City, is where fire-, water-, land- and air-residents live together. The story introduces Ember, a tough, quick-witted and fiery young woman, whose friendship with a fun, sappy, go-with-the-flow guy named Wade challenges her beliefs about the world they live in.
