Despite not being on the director’s chair of the new animated movie STRANGE MAGIC (Gary Rydstrom helmed it), Lucas is the creating force behind the fantasy adventure, writing the story and producing the film.

Even when we remained on topic during our conversation and avoided specific “Star Wars” questions, the creator of the galactic saga mentioned it at the begging of his answers. He explained that he wanted to offer young girls around the world a magic tale that would be as enchanting and motivational as his sci-fi epics were to boys.
