Exclusive THE TRANSPORTER REFUELED Interview with Loan Chabanol If someone knows about strong female characters that kick ass that’s Luc Besson. His production company EuropaCorp has rebooted its Transporter franchise with THE TRANSPORTER REFUELED, featuring Ed Skrein as the new Frank Martin, and French actress Loan Chabanol as “Anna,” anything but a damsel in distress. I sat down with the beautiful and talented performer to talk about her incursion in the testosterone-filled action genre. The reboot of the action saga, directed by Camille Delamarre (Brick Mansions), also stars Ray Stevenson, Tatiana Pajkovic, and Lenn Kudrjawizki. THE TRANSPORTER REFUELED is now playing in theaters nationwide. Editing credit: NY-based videographer & editor Carlos Otero. Frank Martin (Ed Skrein) is the most highly-skilled transporter money can buy. The stakes are greater and technology better, but the same three simple rules apply: never change the deal, no names and never open the package. When Frank is hired by cunning femme fatale Anna (Loan Chabanol) and her three stunning sidekicks, he quickly discovers he’s been played. Anna and her cohorts have kidnapped his father (Ray Stevenson) in order to coerce Frank into helping them take down a ruthless group of Russian human traffickers. Fueled by revenge, he will break all his rules and stop at nothing to rescue his father in this action-packed thrill ride across the French Riviera.
