The Expendables 3: Stallone Confirms Harrison Ford, Punches ‘Greedy and Lazy’ Bruce Willis Twitter has become a public arena for celebrities to confront each other, but today the protagonists were actual gladiators. In a very surprising announcement Sylvester Stallone said the following: “WILLIS OUT… HARRISON FORD IN !!!! GREAT NEWS !!!!! Been waiting years for this!!!!” Wow! Two things that nobody saw coming. Willis like Arnold had a bigger role in The Expendables 2 and Ford wasn’t mentioned among the many rumored for the third installment. Both actors had solid performances in two very good movies this year, the biopic 42 and the action comedy RED 2. Characterizing as “great news” the announcement that included Willis’ departure was nothing compared to his following tweet, 5 minutes later: “GREEDY AND LAZY …… A SURE FORMULA FOR CAREER FAILURE” Sly usually includes the line “Keep punching!” in his autographs, but with this blow he didn’t need to say more. And in ALL CAPS. Ouch! Others, like Jean-Claude Van Damme in the first Expendable, have rejected Stallone’s offers before but he hasn’t reacted like this. So what happened? Did Bruce Willis really do something to deserve this slap or maybe Sly has already spent too much time with Mel Gibson? The Expendables 3 hits theaters on August 15, 2014.
