GRAVITY: Breathtaking New Trailer and TV Spot Focus on Sandra Bullock’s Character

Oscar, we have a contender. Marketing campaigns can be deceiving but if Alfonso Cuarón’s Gravity (In 3D and 2D and IMAX® on October 4) is as good as the trailers suggest, we have to brace ourselves not only for an unique cinematic experience, but also a potential Oscar Winner.

We don’t know how big George Clooney’s character will be, but Sandra Bullock seems to have the spotlight and the time to shine that comes with it. In this new trailer and tv spot we get to know a little bit more about her ‘Dr. Ryan Stone’.

“Bullock plays Dr. Ryan Stone, a brilliant engineer on her first shuttle mission, with veteran astronaut Matt Kowalski (Clooney). But on a seemingly routine spacewalk, disaster strikes. The shuttle is destroyed, leaving Stone and Kowalski completely alone—tethered to nothing but each other and spiraling out into the blackness. The deafening silence tells them they have lost any link to Earth…and any chance for rescue. As fear turns to panic, every gulp of air eats away at what little oxygen is left. But the only way home may be to go further out into the terrifying expanse of space.”
