Paramount Home Media Distribution has released the comedy DADDY’S HOME 2 on 4K Ultra HD, Blu-ray, DVD, and Digital.

I recently had a brief chat with two of its youngest stars, the irresistibly charming Scarlett Estevez (Megan) and Owen Vaccaro (Dylan).

The film, directed by Sean Anders, also stars Will Ferrell, Mark Wahlberg, Mel Gibson, and John Lithgow.

How was it reuniting with the other actors and the entire crew?

Scarlett Estevez: It was amazing!

Owen Vaccaro: I think that it was great because a lot of people were in the first movie, so we are like a family now.

I have seen Mel Gibson in person and he can look a little bit intimidating at first. Were you scared?

Scarlett: I was a little bit scared at the beginning because I didn’t know if would be a scary, mean guy.

Owen: But it was quite the opposite. Everybody was very nice.

What is the biggest difference between the first film and this sequel?

Owen: I think that the biggest difference is that you can see the characters grow a little bit more. Each one has its own situation and story. For instance, Sara is trying to be Karen’s friend, and she struggles a little bit. But it ends up well.

Scarlett: And you get to see why Brad and Dusty are the way they are.

When you guys grow up, would you like to have an acting career like Will Ferrell, doing mostly comedies, or a more diverse one, like Mark Wahlberg’s?

Scarlett: I don’t really know. Comedy is hilarious, action is cool… I need a little bit of both.

Owen: My favorite form of acting is obviously comedy, but I’ve always wondered about horror. I did a horror movie for kids [The House with a Clock in its Walls], that comes out in September, and it was super fun.
