We Talked to Kevin Costner and More at the MCFARLAND USA Premiere

I had the pleasure of attending the McFarland, USA Red Carpet Premiere at El Capitan Theater in Hollywood and talking to the always thoughtful Kevin Costner, real life legendary cross-country coach Jim White (who Costner plays in the film), and talented director Niki Caro.

Inspired by the 1987 true story, “McFarland, USA” follows novice runners from McFarland, an economically challenged town in California’s farm-rich Central Valley, as they give their all to build a cross-country team under the direction of Coach Jim White (Kevin Costner), a newcomer to their predominantly Latino high school.
