Universal Studios’ Halloween Horror Nights Fans Can Attend The Eyegore Awards In just a few days Universal Studios Hollywood will be invaded by hordes of horror fans, thirsty for the kind of thrills that only this outstanding event can provide. For the first time, the first 500 attendees will be able to enjoy the star-studded red carpet ceremony “Eyegore Awards” purchasing a special add-on ticket. Universal Studios Hollywood kicks off “Halloween Horror Nights” with the annual “Eyegore Awards,” honoring Hollywood horror icons. 2014 recipients include: filmmaker and Founder & Chairman of El Rey Network, Robert Rodriguez (“Sin City: A Dame to Kill For,” “From Dusk Till Dawn,” “Machette,” “Grindhouse”), presented by prolific actor, producer and last year’s “Eyegore Award” recipient, Danny Trejo; Greg Nicotero, Executive Producer and Special Effects Make-Up Supervisor of AMC’s “The Walking Dead,” presented by host of AMC’s “The Talking Dead,” Chris Hardwick and Robert Kirkman, Creator and Executive Producer of “The Walking Dead” and “Outcast;” filmmaker John Landis (“An American Werewolf in London” and Michael Jackson’s “Thriller”), presented by Rick Baker, seven-time Academy Award-winning Special Effects Make-Up Artist and previous “Eyegore Award” recipient; and Grammy Award winner and Rock and Roll Hall of Fame guitarist, SLASH.
