When I saw The Grey I was in owe with Frank Grillo’s range. At moments his ‘Diaz’ was an angry alpha male, then he was funny, and by the end movingly vulnerable.

In “The Purge: Anarchy” (now available on Blu-ray/DVD) this great actor proves that he can also be a leading man and an action star. In the superior sequel he plays a strong, vengeful and heroic man known as Sergeant, who tries to survive the worst day of the year.

I had the pleasure of seating down with Grillo to talk about the action-horror film and much more.
