Zac Efron podría protagonizar la comedia Australiana Dirt Cheap Hemos recibido un comunicado de prensa desde Australia. Nottah Films anuncia que se ha asociado con el productor Gustavo Cardozo de Gushollywood Productions en Los Angeles para realizar la comedia Dirt Cheap. La directora/escritora Shelly Hatton tiene la mirada puesta en Zac Efron para el papel principal y las negociaciones habrían comenzado con los representantes del actor. La historia seguiría Chad Tully, un agente de viajes Australiano que vive en New York. Chad se encuentra de repente como guía turístico en su pueblo natal de Wally Creek luego que las planeadas vacaciones de un cliente salen terriblemente mal. Según el anuncio, Dirt Cheap se propone ser la película más divertida que ha salido de Australia desde Crocodile Dundee. “Australian filmmaker Shelly Hatton has teamed up with LA based producer, Gustavo Cardozo of Gushollywood Productions for the upcoming international comedy Dirt Cheap. It’s a perfect partnership, “Gustavo really understands comedy and we share the same vision for the film,” said Hatton, “you are only as good as the team surrounding you, and I’ve got some of the best in the business.” Hatton has her eyes set firmly on securing Zac Efron to play the lead, Chad Tully. Other cast confirmed include Maggie Dence (Danny Deckchair, Peter Pan) Lyall Brooks (Any questions for Ben, Rake) Lochlyn Munro (White Chicks, A Night at the Roxbury) and Christopher McDonald (Happy Gilmore, Thelma and Louise). Producers of Dirt Cheap are currently scouting locations in and around Sydney, Australia as well as New York City.
